Citizens of Athens/Citizens of Sparta
This British site is about the rivalries between ancient Sparta and Athens. The site focuses on the Peloponnesian Wars as seen through the eyes of fictional citizens of each city-state. Students are encouraged to choose one family to follow through history, and they can do this by clicking on the illustrations. The site also has "Surfboards," a series of questions that helps young readers track the events. There are also printable autobiography sheets for each character.
