Delaware 1.1 Scientific inquiry involves asking scientifically-oriented questions, collecting evidence, forming explanations, connecting explanations to scientific knowledge and theory, and communicating and justifying the explanation.

1.1.38 All students will be able to: Demonstrate an understanding of the components of our Solar System and their characteristics, including the Moon, the Sun, the planets and their moons, extra-solar planets, and smaller objects such as asteroids and comets. Construct scale models of the Solar System in order to describe the relative sizes of planets and their distances from the Sun.
